Original Text
Senenji is a Shinshu Otani-ha temple located about a 23-minute walk from JR Akita Station. I worshiped when I took a walk around Teramachi in Akita in July. The main hall is a magnificent wooden building with a copper plate-roofed Irimoya-zukuri. It was early in July, but a memorial service was held in the main hall. There was a kitchen knife mound in the precincts. This area is a recommended spot for those who are interested in shrines and temples because temples are gathered.
